Data used for an estimate
The site creates no visitor account and executes no transfer. It does not request KYC documents, card numbers, bank access data, account details or the recipient’s name.
The form sends the source and target currencies, amount and payment methods to the server API. The server sends those quote parameters to the provider queried. No personal identifier is included, and the Wise API token remains server-side and is never sent to the browser.
To preserve the form across a language change or navigation in the same tab, the browser temporarily stores the calculation mode, amount and currency pair in session storage under the key transfertargent.quote-form.v1. This copy remains in the browser only, is removed when the tab session ends or session storage is cleared, and is not sent to Google.
Technical logs and external links
Nginx records technical logs including the IP address, date and time, requested resource, HTTP status, referrer and browser. They are used on the basis of the publisher’s legitimate interest in securing, operating and diagnosing the service. The active configuration rotates them daily and retains fourteen compressed rotations.
These logs are stored on the Scaleway Dedibox VPS located in Seattle, United States. This processing outside the European Economic Area is governed by Scaleway’s data processing agreement, which provides for the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for controller-to-processor transfers and appropriate technical and organisational measures. No affiliate script or pixel loads on the site. Paid links to Wise and Walutomat open external services, either directly or through a third-party intermediary depending on the link; their own policies apply after navigation. TransfertArgent does not sell personal data.
Google Analytics 4 remains inactive without a valid identifier and before your explicit consent. After consent, measurement is limited to an allowlisted page without query parameters or fragments, an estimate’s submission and result bucketed as 0, 1 or multiple responses, and outbound clicks by category. The application sends no exact amount, currency, provider, destination URL or form entry. Google may then process technical data and pseudonymous measurement identifiers. Consent can be withdrawn from the management button.
Retention, recipients and rights
The parameters needed for an estimate are processed to answer your request and sent to Wise to obtain a quote. The application neither logs the request body nor stores it in a database. The server may retain the quote and its parameters in a bounded in-memory cache until expiry, eviction or process restart. Access to the Nginx logs described above is limited to those responsible for operating and securing the server.
GA4 measurement relies on consent. The local choice remains in your browser until it is withdrawn or local storage is cleared. In the TransfertArgent.com Analytics property, retention is set to two months for event data and fourteen months for user data, with reset on new activity enabled. These settings may be changed by the property administrator or as Google’s service evolves. Google is a measurement recipient and may process data outside the European Economic Area under its own terms and safeguards.
Depending on the processing, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, object to certain processing and withdraw consent.
